Contemporary HEIS was established in 2012 as a speciality gallery of contemporary art.
Contemporary HEIS introduces Japanese young artists in Japan and overseas through artfairs and exhibitions. The gallery also has exhibitions showcasing works from Informalism, Neo-Dada and Kyushu-Ha to explore more art from the Post-War period. Furthermore, the gallery is dealing in the works of Mono-Ha artists as well. Contemporary HEIS does not narrow down genres but mainly introduces works that are abstract expressionist.
2012年 現代美術を専門に扱うギャラリーとして設立。
国内作家をはじめ若手アーティストを海外・国内アートフェアや展覧会を通じて紹介している。
また、アンフォルメル・ネオダダ・九州派作家など戦後美術を掘下げる展覧会企画・展示をはじめモノ派作家などの作品も取り扱っている。
抽象表現の作品を中心にジャンルにとらわれずアーティストやコレクターとの出会いを軸に、多角的に作品を紹介している。
